Sue Bearman

Sue Bearman has extensive experience in legal and democratic services, currently serving as the Assistant Director Legal and Democratic Services at Newark and Sherwood District Council since October 2019. Previously, Sue held various roles at Newark and Sherwood District Council, including Business Manager for Law and Information Governance and Business Manager for Legal Services. Sue also worked as a Senior Solicitor Governance at Nottinghamshire County Council from August 2007 to October 2019, and started their legal career as an Assistant Solicitor at Newark & Sherwood District Council from January 2005 to August 2007.
