Evan Gold is an accomplished Project Manager with extensive experience in managing diverse projects across various sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager for Newark Downtown District since January 2023, Evan oversees project development from initiation to closing, including data platform projects and large-scale public events. Previously, at Best Practices BHOM, LLC, from April 2022 to November 2022, Evan provided technical guidance and project management support. Evan's extensive background in journalism includes roles at NJTV News from July 2011 to April 2021, where responsibilities included managing editorial teams and producing live newscasts with a focus on policy and public affairs. Early career experience at The WNET Group included coordinating production processes and supporting editorial teams. Evan holds a BA in Journalism & Media Studies from Rutgers University, graduated in 2006.

Newark Downtown District
Newark Downtown District is Newark’s special improvement district in the central business area. It is a privately funded, non-profit organization, dedicated to revitalizing downtown Newark by improving the economic viability of the central business district. NDD’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for those who live, labor, and leisure in Newark, by implementing marketing programs and providing horticulture, security, and cleaning services in the downtown area. The office is located in the downtown business district, close to Newark Penn Station and is easily accessible for NYC and NJ commuters via the PATH and NJ Transit trains.
