Newark Downtown District
Newark Downtown District is Newark’s special improvement district in the central business area. It is a privately funded, non-profit organization, dedicated to revitalizing downtown Newark by improving the economic viability of the central business district. NDD’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for those who live, labor, and leisure in Newark, by implementing marketing programs and providing horticulture, security, and cleaning services in the downtown area. The office is located in the downtown business district, close to Newark Penn Station and is easily accessible for NYC and NJ commuters via the PATH and NJ Transit trains.
