Nazneen Khanam

Nazneen Khanam has over 7 years of experience working in the educational field, specifically with special needs children. Currently serving as a Special Education Aide at Coyote Hills Elementary and as a Special Education Aide II at Newark Unified School District since January 2022, Khanam previously held various roles within the Newark Unified School District, including Special Education Aide from August 2016 to March 2020 and Campus Monitor. Additional experience includes working in a daycare setting, serving as a volunteer Field Liaison for Chemists Without Borders, and providing support in a home-based preschool environment. Khanam holds an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohlone College, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from California State University - East Bay, and a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Dhaka.
