Sonia Torres

Sonia Torres has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as a High School Counselor for Newark Unified School District since August 2002. Prior to this role, Sonia worked as a teacher at Newark Junior High from September 1999 to August 2002, where instruction focused on 7th grade world history. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern American History from Brown University, earned between 1995 and 1999.
