Alexis Culotta is a highly experienced academic and editor specializing in art history. Currently serving as a Professor of Practice at Tulane University since July 2020, Alexis has also held various positions, including Lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Adjunct Online Instructor at multiple institutions. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Art History from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Alexis has contributed to the field through editorial roles, including Editor In Chief of Insight: A Journal of Scholarly Teaching and IASbog. Experience includes instructing adult seminars at The Newberry and various adjunct positions across several universities, showcasing a commitment to both teaching and academic scholarship in art history.
