Alicia Zeimet is an experienced program manager with a strong background in public history and education. Currently serving as the Public Programs Manager at Newberry Library since August 2021, Alicia previously held the role of Program Coordinator for Adult Education Seminars at the same institution. Prior experience includes managing the Stories of Arts Resilience oral history project at Chicago Cultural Alliance, providing research support at Loyola University Chicago, and contributing to multiple academic and museum projects. Alicia holds a Master of Arts in Public History from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Louis University, with additional study at Linnaeus University.
