Alison Hinderliter

Alison Hinderliter is an experienced librarian currently serving as the Manuscripts and Archives Librarian at The Newberry Library since October 2001. Prior to this role, Alison provided spiritual and keyboardical guidance at Le Concorde from 2007 to 2009 and worked as an Assistant Archivist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1996 to 2001. Alison holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in 1991, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in French from Oberlin College, completed in 1989.
