Ben Weinstein

Ben Weinstein is a skilled project archivist currently working at the Newberry Library since December 2022, and previously served as a librarian in branch services at the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District. Prior experience includes positions as an SEO coordinator and eCommerce associate at Crate and Barrel, where Ben produced high-quality web copy and utilized various SEO tools. Ben’s writing background features freelance contributions to the Portland Mercury and work as an arts editor for The Pioneer Log, along with editorial internships at 22nd Century Media LLC and Shelflife Records. Ben holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University, a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Lewis & Clark College, and a high school diploma from New Trier Township High School.
