Chris Leggett

Chris Leggett has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as the Head Varsity Wrestling Coach at Newburgh Free Academy since August 2012 and as a Physical Education Teacher in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District since September 1993. In addition to teaching, Chris has held the role of Varsity Assistant Football Coach, focusing on Running Backs, Linebackers, and Special Teams. Prior coaching experience includes serving as the JV Wrestling Coach at Newburgh Free Academy from November 1996 to March 2012. Chris began a career in management with Healthcare Services Group Inc., overseeing staff in nursing homes, before pursuing a career in education. Academically, Chris holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration from SUNY New Paltz and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from James Madison University.
