Elizabeth Thomas-Cappello has been a dedicated educator since 2004, primarily with the Newburgh Enlarged City School District, where significant contributions include developing a comprehensive Computer Science pathway for grades 9-12 and teaching various advanced computer science courses. Additionally, Elizabeth serves as a Research Assistant at the University at Albany, focusing on middle school computer science education through NSF-funded research, including professional development for teachers and mixed-methods research.
