Matthew Foster

Matthew Foster is an experienced music education professional currently serving as a Music Technology Lecturer at Newbury College since February 2016. As the Owner and Founding Director of Creative People, Matthew delivers workshops and serves as an Arts Award Adviser while also recording and mixing music for various artists. In the role of Head of Academy at The Rock Academy Foundation, Matthew manages music education experiences and develops partnerships with local educational and arts organizations. Additional roles include Freelance Music Leader and Supply Teacher, contributing to a diverse range of subjects in secondary schools. Matthew's previous experience includes leadership positions at Reading College and Thames Valley University, focusing on curriculum growth and course development in Music and Music Technology. Educational qualifications encompass a Post Graduate Certificate in Audio Technology and a BA in Popular Music Studies, further solidifying expertise in the field.
