Chris Scowden has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Chris is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Newbury Partners, where they assist Bullhorn clients with software implementation, optimization, and training in the staffing industry. Prior to this, Chris was the CEO/Founder of Acuent Capital LLC, a private investment group focused on acquiring and transforming small to mid-sized businesses.
In 2020, Chris started their own company called Copy Tech Systems, Inc, where they served as the owner. Copy Tech Systems provided copier sales, service, and rental solutions to the DFW community at affordable prices. Before that, from 2018 to 2019, Chris worked as the SVP of Business Transformation at TrueBlue Inc., leading digital transformation efforts for the People Ready division.
Chris has also held various leadership positions at AMN Healthcare, including Vice President and General Manager of Recruitment Process Outsourcing, Vice President of Sales Operations, and Senior Vice President of Locums Tenens. In these roles, they oversaw operations, sales, account management, and service delivery, and led strategic initiatives in the healthcare staffing industry.
Prior to AMN Healthcare, Chris worked at IBM as the Global Delivery Lead of Recruitment Process Outsourcing, where they built and led IBM's Global RPO practice. Chris also served as the Vice President at The Empower Network, where they helped increase revenue and managed multiple business lines in the RPO industry.
Chris began their career at Motion Recruitment as a Division Manager and later worked as a Market Manager at RemX Financial Staffing.
