Kathy Steen, PMP

Kathy Steen, PMP, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Kathy most recently worked at Newbury Partners as a Program Manager starting in 2020. Prior to that, they were employed by CGI from 2014 to 2019, where they held the positions of CGI Advantage ERP HRM Project Manager and Advantage ERP HRM Project Manager.

From 2012 to 2013, Kathy worked at BBSI as a Project Manager, where they successfully implemented a customized payroll processing system and managed a large project team. Kathy also provided coaching and mentoring to team members during this time.

Before that, Kathy worked at Portland Housing Bureau as a Project Manager from 2010 to 2012, and at Portland Development Commission as a Project Manager for a brief period in 2010.

Their career also includes working as a CIO at the Mississippi Development Authority from 2007 to 2009, and several roles at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 1997 to 2007, including Associate Director, Assistant Director, Analyst/Programmer Manager, and Senior LAN Administrator.

Furthermore, Kathy served as the MIS Director at the Mississippi Treasury Department from 1994 to 1997.

Kathy began their career as a Consultant at Information Technology Services in 1985, where they provided technology consulting services to state agencies and managed various projects. Kathy's expertise includes project management, system implementation, and software development.

Kathy Steen, PMP began their education in 1979 by attending Holmes Community College. Kathy completed their Associate of Arts degree in Data Processing in 1981. Following that, they pursued further studies at Belhaven University from 1994 to 1996. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
