Andrew Hearn

Andrew Hearn has a solid work experience in the banking and finance industry. Andrew is currently serving as the Head of ALM at Newcastle Building Society since April 2022. Before that, they worked at Skipton Building Society for 11 years as a Senior Asset Liability Manager. Prior to that, they were a Risk Analyst at Santander UK from January 2008 to February 2011. Andrew also worked as a Market Risk Manager at Alliance & Leicester from December 2000 to December 2007.

Andrew Hearn's education history begins in 1995 when they attended Durham University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Sociology in 1998. Andrew then pursued further education at Durham University and completed a Master's degree in Modern East Asian Studies from 1999 to 2000. In 2003, Andrew enrolled at the Association of Corporate Treasurers and obtained an Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers qualification in 2005. Andrew later attended the ACCA and received a Certificate in International Auditing in 2010. Lastly, in 2016 and 2017, Andrew studied with the Association of Corporate Treasurers and pursued the CertBALM - UK ALMA program.
