Jamie Carruthers

Jamie Carruthers is a Technical Accounting Graduate at Newcastle Building Society since January 2021, working in statutory accounting, corporation tax, VAT, regulation, risk management, and project work. Previously, Jamie served as a Finance Support Administrator and undertook a year-long placement as a Finance Undergraduate in the same organization, leading a financial education project. Additional experience includes roles as a General Assistant at The Crown & Thistle and Lane7 Ltd., Stock Assistant at Aldi UK, and Bar & Restaurant Supervisor at The Black Lion. Jamie holds a BA in Business Management from Northumbria University and is a part-qualified member of the ICAEW, currently pursuing advanced level exams.
