Newcastle Pride is a “Newcastle based LGBTQIA+ community-based charity organisation” the committee is powered by a small but mighty team of
dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to bring events and our annual festival to life each year.
With five successful festivals we continue to diversify and organise regular safe and inclusive events that bring our community and allies together. Our mission is to celebrate sexuality and gender diversity, empower individuals to be their true selves.
We are committed to creating a region where everyone feels safe, respected, and embraced for who they truly are. We believe in the power of unity and collaboration, working hand in hand with our community to forge stronger relationships and support networks.
Together, we can create a safer, happier, and culturally rich environment for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Region.
