Simon Capper has an extensive work experience in finance and management. Simon is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Newcastle United Football Club since June 2023. Before that, they worked as the Finance Director at Leicester City Football Club from June 2011 to May 2023. Simon also served as a Governor at De Montfort University from November 2016 to December 2019. Prior to these roles, they were the Finance Director at Sheffield United plc from June 2007 to August 2010. Simon's experience also includes working as the Finance Director Designate at Scarborough Property Company plc, where they managed finances and prepared accounts for multiple property SPVs. Simon has a background in consulting, having been the Managing Director of DCDM Consulting from June 1997 to November 2004, and a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche Zambia from October 1994 to June 1997. Simon started their career as a Manager at Deloitte & Touche London (Touche Ross) from September 1988 to October 1994.
