Wilma De La Cruz

Wilma is fond of a quote from the Dalai Lama, “Happiness is not something ready-made; it comes from your own actions”.

And that’s not surprising given the extensive experience and widely admired status she has determinedly acquired as a sales professional in the hospitality industry over a couple of decades.

She has developed a deep understanding for what clients expect in a successful organization, and shares that knowledge through her reputation as an excellent team builder.

In her personal time, she demonstrates a broad, and even eclectic range of interests that include; fly fishing, golf, travelling and, when the proper time allows, enjoying a good bourbon and glass of wine.

The Colorado State University graduate is a football fan, and follows the golf circuit when she’s not on the course herself. It shouldn’t be a surprise then when life’s contradictions can also be explored in her favorite book, Catcher in the Rye, and her ideal movie choice, Up in the Air.

And making the world a better place has led her to focus special attention to community and social needs, especially the provision of publicly needed shelter by supporting Habitat for Humanity and feeding the homeless through the work of the Good Samaritan House.
