Venkat Chenna has over two decades of experience in the IT industry. Venkat has held various roles such as Developer, Analyst Programmer, DB Lead, and Senior Technology Architect at companies like STS Malaysia, Thomson Directories, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Nielsen Media Research, Hitec (Laboratories) Ltd, Serco Listening, Accenture, Hitachi Consulting, Capgemini, and newcleo. Their most recent role was as Head Of Data at newcleo, where they were responsible for overseeing data operations. Prior to this, they served as Managing Solution Architect and Senior Solution Architect at Capgemini, and held managerial and consulting positions at Hitachi Consulting and Accenture.

Venkat Chenna completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree with a focus on NIIT Computer Education from Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavans Public School BHEL between 1996-1998. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies and Microsoft Azure Architect Design, becoming a Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
