Violetta Toto

Violetta Toto is a skilled professional with extensive experience in scientific communication and research within the fields of engineering and material science. Currently serving as the Scientific Communications Manager at newcleo since February 2022, Violetta previously worked as a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Milano, where expertise in Molecular Dynamics techniques focused on defects in graphite and their impact on material properties. Earlier roles include providing technical support for research activities at Energy & Strategy, where development of a predictive model for innovation impacts was undertaken, as well as a student internship at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, where a web-based platform for biological image analysis was developed. Violetta holds a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials and Nanotechnology from Politecnico di Milano, along with a Technical Institute Diploma in Information Technology from ITI Marconi - Rovereto. Technical competencies include GRASS, PostgreSQL, R, and automated analysis, complemented by strengths in communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
