Dana S. McCarthy

Dana McCarthy has extensive experience in leadership and marketing, currently serving as President & CEO of NewCom Technologies, Inc. since January 2001, after holding the roles of Executive VP & COO. Previously, Dana held various positions at NCMIC Group, Inc. from December 1994 to December 2000, including Marketing Director and Training Manager. Additional experience includes serving as Marketing Manager at the Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce and Director of Communications at Adventure Lands Of America, Inc. Earlier career highlights include roles as Director of Programs at Junior Achievement of Central Iowa and Marketing Coordinator at Business Publications Corporation, Inc. Dana began a career in communications as a Communications Project Coordinator with the Iowa Department of Economic Development. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Drake University, earned between 1989 and 1993.
