Lane Carter has over 20 years of comprehensive experience in management and investigative roles. Currently serving as an Accounts Manager at Newcomb & Company since August 2017, Lane effectively utilizes online accounting systems and specialized software to enhance record-keeping and reporting processes. Prior to this, Lane worked as a Senior Investigator at the North Carolina Department of Labor from February 2007 to April 2017, where expertise in investigating claims related to labor laws was demonstrated. Earlier experience includes serving as an Intensive Community Corrections, Probation/Parole Officer at the North Carolina Department of Public Safety from May 1995 to February 2007, overseeing a substantial caseload and providing expert testimony in legal settings. Lane holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminal Justice and History from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
