Sanjay Sharma

Sanjay Sharma is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Platform at NewDay since December 2023, Sanjay previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at NewDay Ltd from May 2013 to December 2023, contributing to the growth of the dynamic consumer finance business in the UK. Prior to this, Sanjay was the COO and a Board Member at BAWAG PSK, where significant turnaround efforts led to a positive PAT of approximately EUR 150 million by 2012. Sanjay's experience at Barclays Corporate included roles as COO, Chief of Staff, and Director of Strategy & Planning, enhancing operational efficiency and strategic initiatives. Sanjay holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, an MBM with Distinction from the Asian Institute of Management, and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
