Christian Leyden is a seasoned industrial designer with extensive experience in product design and management. Currently serving as Principal Industrial Designer and Manager of Industrial Design at Newell Brands since August 2005, Leyden oversees end user research, concept ideation, design development, and project management for brands including IRWIN, Bernzomatic, Shur-Line, and Bulldog. Leyden plays a crucial role in defining brand visual identity and leads the implementation of the “Consumer Driven Innovation” process. Previously, Leyden was a Senior Industrial Designer at Panasonic from January 2000 to August 2005, where responsibilities included supervising the department, product planning, and mentoring junior designers. Christian Leyden holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, earned in 1999.
