Alex Newell, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Alex started their career at PwC, where they worked as an Audit Associate and later as a Senior Associate in the Forensics, Valuations, and Disputes department. They also had brief roles in marketing at DeGroote Accounting Association and as an Assembly Line worker at Ford Motors Canada.
In 2017, Alex joined Amica Senior Lifestyles as an Internal Controls and Compliance Analyst, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Corporate Analyst, Special Projects, and Manager Corporate Accounting.
After their time at Amica, Alex became the Chief Financial Officer at Newell's Express Worldwide Logistics Ltd. in 2019. They currently hold this position.
In 2021, Alex co-founded FulFillit.io and assumed the role of Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer.
Alex Newell, CPA, CA completed an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University in 2013. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, Alex attended McMaster University.
