Inclusionary Practices Coordinator at NEWESD 101

Lindsay Hicks-Frazer serves as the Inclusionary Practices Coordinator at NEWESD 101 since March 2020, following a role as a High School Teacher and Freshman Advisor at Newport School District from August 2015 to March 2020. In the latter position, Lindsay managed all aspects of instruction for special education English and social studies for high school students and was involved in IEP writing and transitional planning. Prior experience includes serving as an Intern Principal at Newport School District, a Resource/Special Education Teacher at Pleasanton Unified School District, and a Para-educator at Sunol Glen School. Prior to a career in education, Lindsay worked as a Police Officer for Wiltshire Constabulary in the UK, where duties included communication with the public and consulting for the Royal Family. Educational achievements include ongoing doctoral studies in Leadership at Gonzaga University, obtaining Principal Certification and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Washington State University, a Credential in Special Education from Saint Mary's College of California, and a Bachelor's degree in Literature from the University of the West of England.
