Oswaldo Garcia

Oswaldo Garcia is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in hosting and systems administration. Currently serving as the Manager of the Core Hosting Engineering Team at Newfold Digital since July 2020, Oswaldo leads a team of five engineers, focusing on the design and deployment of new hosting platforms utilizing container technologies such as Kubernetes. From August 2014 to July 2020, Oswaldo managed the UNIX Hosting Systems Team at Web.com, where responsibilities included overseeing sys admins and ensuring the smooth operation of hosting platforms. Previous roles include Linux Systems Engineer, XP/P9000 Storage Engineer at Hewlett-Packard, Unix Team Lead at Corporación Digitel, and Technical Field Service Engineer at Intercal. Oswaldo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidad Centro Occidental 'Lisandro Alvarado'.
