Carl Veillette

Carl Veillette has worked in various roles in the construction and technology industries since 2008. Carl began their career as a Cost Estimator and Revit Specialist at CANAM in 2008. In 2011, they became a Revit/BIM Teacher at Cégep Limoilou. In 2013, they worked as a BIM Specialist for InteliBuild, a Designer III and BIM Lead for Mott MacDonald, and a Vice-President and Co-Founder for Virtual Construction and Technology BIM One Inc. In 2015, they became the Chief Product Officer and VP of Product, Co-Founder at BIM Track®. In 2022, they became the Chief Product Officer, Cloud Products at Newforma.

Carl Veillette's education history includes a DEC in Architecture from Cégep de Trois-Rivières from 2005 to 2008, BIM from Cégep Limoilou in 2015, Modeling, Virtual Environments and Simulation from Autodesk University in Las Vegas from 2011 to 2014, and a planned degree in Modeling, Virtual Environments and Simulation from RTC NA 2013 in 2013. Additionally, they hold certifications from the CanBIM Council of Canada for BIM Certified Professional (CP) obtained in February 2016, from Autodesk for Revit Architecture 2012 Certified Professional obtained in October 2011, and from the Autodesk Certified Instructor Program for Autodesk Certified Instructor obtained in February 2019.
