Bethany Hynes

Bethany Hynes, E.I.T. is a Civil Engineer in Training with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador. Presently serving as a Civil E.I.T. in Transmission Engineering at Newfoundland Power since May 2024, Bethany previously completed a Civil Engineering Co-op Student position at the same company, conducting dam safety inspections. Prior experience includes a Quality Coordinator Co-op Engineering Student role with SDPGP, where inspections of concrete and rebar operations were performed, and two co-op placements at Pennecon focused on estimating costs for projects, including equipment takeoffs for wind turbine initiatives and dam renovations.
