Josh George

Josh George is a Civil Engineer currently employed at Newfoundland Power since November 2023. Previously, Josh held various civil engineering roles at Hatch from July 2019 to November 2023, including Civil Engineer, Civil EIT, Package Engineer, and Junior Field Engineer. The early career included a Climate Change Work Term Student position with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, along with experiences at PCL Construction as a Procurement Student and at Nalcor Energy-Lower Churchill Project as an Environmental Engineering Co-op Student. Josh also served as a Work Term Student at Hatch and a Laboratory Assistant at Memorial University of Newfoundland, alongside customer service roles at Home Hardware Stores Limited. Coaching roles in hockey and soccer were also part of Josh's background. Josh earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from Memorial University from 2014 to 2019.
