Mike White

Mike White has a diverse work experience. Mike started their career in 2008 at Virtual Marine Technology as a Numerical Modeler, where they conducted research on hydrodynamics and developed equations of motion for small crafts. Mike also worked on the development of simulators for lifeboat and FRC operation. In 2012, they joined the Provincial Government of NL as a Statistician I for a period of six months. During this time, they gained experience in statistical analysis. In the same year, they also started their studies in Statistics/Economics at Memorial University. In 2014, they joined Newfoundland Power as an Analyst, and they continue to work there.

Mike White obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2001 to 2005. Mike then pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Math from the same university, graduating in 2008.
