Electrical Engineer In Training at Newfoundland Power

Monica Hunter has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Monica began their career as a Construction Inspector Student at the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor in 2018. In 2019, they worked as both an Electrical Construction Management Student and an Integration Construction Management Student at Nalcor Energy-Lower Churchill Project. Monica then joined ExxonMobil in 2020 as a Cross Asset Engineering Student, specializing in Electrical & Instrumentation. In 2021, Monica held positions at FortisBC as a Stations Engineering Co-op Student and at Newfoundland Power as a Stations Engineering Student. In 2022, they began working at Newfoundland & Labrador Hydro as a Graduate Engineer followed by their current position at Newfoundland Power as an Electrical Engineer in Training.

From 2017 to 2022, Monica Hunter attended Memorial University of Newfoundland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical Engineering.
