P. Eng. Tyler Stevens

Tyler Stevens, P. Eng., has a strong background in engineering, with extensive experience in the energy industry. Tyler currently holds the position of Electrical Engineer at Newfoundland Power since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Nalcor Energy as a Planning Engineer from March 2017 to November 2021.

Tyler also gained valuable experience at Nalcor Energy as an Engineering Work Term Student, where they worked on project management and rural generation and distribution planning. Additionally, they served as an Engineering Work Term Student - Research and Development at Solace Power Inc. and as an Engineering Work Term Student - Regional Operations at Newfoundland Power.

Throughout their work experience, Tyler has demonstrated their ability to contribute to the development of load forecasts, complete planning reviews, perform protection coordination studies, and update electrical system models. Tyler is skilled in using CYMETCC and AutoCAD for these tasks.

Tyler Stevens, P. Eng. completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland in the years 2011 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from the same institution from 2018 to 2022.
