Sarah Dalton

Sarah Dalton is a Dam Safety Specialist at Newfoundland Power since January 2025, with a robust background in engineering and project management spanning over a decade. Previously, Sarah served as a Project Lead for Projects and Shutdown Delivery at Vale from April 2021 to January 2025 and as a Mineral Development Engineer with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador between September 2019 and April 2021. Earlier roles include Geotechnical Engineer at Stantec and Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer at Golder Associates. Sarah's career began at Rio Tinto Iron Ore Company of Canada as a Hydrogeological Engineer. Educational qualifications include a degree in Geological Engineering with a focus on Geo-Environmental studies from the University of New Brunswick, completed in 2009.
