Alex Ip

Alex Ip is the current Chief Financial Officer at Newfront Insurance. Prior to joining Newfront, Alex served as the VP of Finance at MasterClass, Inc. from July 2017 to October 2020. At MasterClass, Alex oversaw all aspects of the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance. During their time at MasterClass, Alex oversaw 17x bookings growth across 4 years and helped lead the company's successful transition from a la carte purchase model to subscription offering.

Prior to their time at MasterClass, Alex served as Head of Finance at Stitch Fix from March 2013 to December 2016. In this role, Alex was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations.

Before joining Stitch Fix, Alex worked in corporate development at eBay from June 2011 to March 2013. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company's strategic initiatives and growth initiatives.
