Dewayne Anderson

DeWayne Anderson, M.E.d, currently serves as the DEI Program Manager at Newfront, where responsibilities include leading the DE&I Council and collaborating with Business Resource Groups on DE&I initiatives. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Director at the University of South Florida, where efforts focused on developing programs exploring identity and supporting multicultural student organizations. As Residence Hall Director at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, DeWayne managed a community of 605 residents, supervised staff, and facilitated discussions on multiculturalism and social justice. Additionally, as Residence Life Coordinator at the University of North Florida, responsibilities included overseeing residential areas and managing student staff development. Earlier experience as an Academic Advisor at Slippery Rock University involved supporting first-generation and underrepresented students. DeWayne holds a Doctor of Anthropology degree from the University of South Florida, a master's in Higher Education Administration from Slippery Rock University, and a bachelor's in Liberal Studies from PennWest Clarion.
