Deepika Dutta Kapoor

Deepika Dutta Kapoor is the Chief Design Officer at Newgen Software since May 2021, where innovative design strategies for all products and services are led. Previously, Deepika served as Head of UX Practice at DMI from January 2014 to April 2021, and has held positions such as Head of Experience Group and Associate Director of UX & UI Design at various organizations. Deepika co-owned and hosted BeerUX Meetups in Delhi/NCR and was a Guest Professor at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, creating a customized course in Experience Design. Additional mentoring roles included positions at The Design Village and IIT Mandi. With significant experience at GlobalLogic Inc. and WNS Global Services, Deepika has worked extensively in User Experience across diverse sectors. Deepika holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Delhi University, a qualification in User Interface Analysis from Ohio University, and certifications in Design Innovation.
