Matt Gibson

Matt Gibson has extensive experience in the real estate industry. Matt is currently serving as the Corporate SVP of Land Acquisition at The New Home Company Inc. Since joining in August 2020. Prior to this, they held several leadership roles at WATT COMMUNITIES, including Vice President of Asset Management, Vice President of Land Acquisition & Entitlements, and Vice President of Land Acquisition. During their time at WATT COMMUNITIES, they were responsible for managing asset portfolios, acquiring land and entitlements, and overseeing land acquisition operations. Before that, Matt worked at Richmond American Homes as the Director of Land Acquisition, Land Acquisition Manager, and Land Acquisition Analyst. Additionally, they gained experience as an athlete at USA Team Handball and as a Financial Analyst/Assistant Project Manager at Guardian Real Estate Services. Overall, Matt has a diverse range of experience in the real estate and finance sectors.
