Phil Levy Shrm-Scp

Phil Levy, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Phil is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Newhouse since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Accounting Manager at Central Exchange from August 2018 to February 2020. From 2014 to 2018, they were a self-employed HR Consultant providing accounting, data, tax, and HR services to various companies. Phil also worked as an Accounting Manager at Great Plains SPCA, managing finance department operations for a nonprofit animal shelter. Phil served as the Human Resources Manager at Western Extralite from 2003 to 2013, responsible for HR policies, recruitment, and employee relations. Earlier in their career, Phil worked as a Consultant, contractor, and Controller in various capacities, gaining experience in accounting, finance, and software development. Phil began their career as a Project Manager - Finance at Ahrens Financial Systems from 1998 to 2000.

Phil Levy, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Kansas. Phil further pursued their education at the same institution, completing an MBA with a focus on Finance. In 2006, they obtained the SPHR certification, and in 2015, they obtained the SHRM-SCP certification.
