Samantha Nowak, LEED GA, is currently a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Miami, focusing on the study of hurricane effects on coastal structures to promote sustainability. Previous experience includes an Architectural Intern position at Newman Architects, PC, where responsibilities involved assisting in various project phases and preparing for client meetings, as well as a Sustainability Intern role at SOCOTEC, contributing to LEED, FGBC, and BREEAM certification documentation. Samantha has also served as an Architecture Research Center Assistant at the University of Miami School of Architecture and completed internships at Ci Design, Inc., and Maier Design Group, LLC. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Miami, Samantha's educational background includes graduating from Cheshire High School.
