Eric Colandrea

Eric Colandrea (he/him) is the General Counsel of NEWITY, LLC. General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Easterly Asset ManagementPreviously, Mr. Colandrea was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Easterly Asset Management LP and its affiliates, which included SEC-registered investment advisers and a broker dealer.

Prior to joining Easterly in February 2016, Mr. Colandrea was the Deputy General Counsel at Prospect Administration LLC, responsible for investment adviser and corporate matters for Prospect Capital Management L.P, an investment adviser to a publicly-traded business development company.

Prior to Prospect Administration, Mr. Colandrea was a Senior Vice President, and member of the Convertible Bond and Structured Investments groups at Highbridge Capital Management LLC and was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP prior to joining Highbridge. Mr. Colandrea received his bachelor’s degree. in Finance and Chemistry from Boston College and his juris doctor from the New York University School of Law.
