Nimish Swarup

Nimish Swarup is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the payment technology sector, currently serving as the Regional Managing Director for APAC at Newland Payment Technology since July 2023. Prior to this role, Nimish held significant positions at Ingenico as the Global Sales Director for Payment Platform as a Service, where responsibilities included overseeing global sales and channel development following the acquisition of EasyPymtz, co-founded by Nimish and successfully exited after its acquisition by Worldline. Earlier roles include General Manager at Verifone, where Nimish focused on recovering market share and team morale, and various leadership positions at Gemalto and Orpak Systems, where the development of payment and loyalty systems took priority. Nimish's educational background includes an MBA and CFA from IBS Hyderabad, along with executive education from Kellogg and INSEAD.
