Edie Trott

Edie Trott is the current Senior Director of Marketing at NewMark Merrill Companies. Edie has over 19 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on retail and shopping centers. Prior to their current position, they were the Marketing Director at Vestar, where they oversaw and designed the marketing strategy, branding, advertising, social media, public relations and customer engagement strategies for seven southern California regional shopping centers.

During their time at Vestar, they launched a successful digital marketing strategy that included a new website, social media presence, customer database and acquisition methods, and digital and social media advertising. Edie was also responsible for rebranding a regional shopping center from a traditional mall concept to an entertainment destination. In one year, they orchestrated over 300 events and activations that resulted in increased foot traffic, positive PR, and enhanced customer experience.
