Ross Carpenter

Ross Carpenter is the Director of Leasing for NewMark Merrill Mountain States at NewMark Merrill Companies. Ross has over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry and has held various positions in financial analysis, real estate development, and full spectrum brokerage services.

Ross started their career in 2006 as a teaching assistant for the Department of Real Estate at Colorado State University. In 2007, they began working as a Real Estate Development Financial Analyst for Brownfields Capital. There they researched and created market analysis reports, financial models, and scenario comparisons to assess project viability and risk.

In 2009, Ross left Brownfields Capital to start their own Real Estate consulting firm, Carpenter Consulting Group, LLC. As Principal of the company, Ross was responsible for creating financial proformas and conducting due diligence for potential development projects and Real Estate Investments. Ross also developed and analyzed the financial structuring of real estate projects to maximize return while controlling risk and cost.

In 2011, Ross joined NewMark Merrill Companies as the Director of Leasing for NewMark Merrill Mountain States. In this role, Ross is responsible for leading a team of leasing professionals and overseeing all leasing operations for the company’s portfolio in the mountain states region.

Ross Carpenter graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in finance and economics.
