David Bitner

David Bitner currently serves as the Executive Managing Director and Global Head of Research at Newmark since July 2022, where responsibilities include the strategic vision and execution of global research initiatives with a focus on capital markets. Prior to this role, Bitner held positions at Cushman & Wakefield as Vice President and Global Head of Capital Markets Research, and Vice President, Americas Head of Capital Markets Research, emphasizing the interaction between macroeconomic trends and commercial real estate. Additional experience includes working at Syntax LLC as an MBA Intern, Makena Capital in Global Investment Strategy, and Merrill Lynch in the Corporate Finance and Restructuring Group. Bitner holds dual MBA degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and Esade, as well as a BA in Classical Civilizations and Economics from Duke University.
