Newmeyer Dillion
John Hamilton is an accomplished attorney and partner with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, venture capital, private equity transactions, and contract negotiation. Currently with Newmeyer & Dillion since September 2017, Hamilton previously held similar roles at Troutman Sanders LLP from March 2014 to August 2017 and Rutan & Tucker, LLP from March 1998 to September 2011. Additionally, Hamilton co-founded and served as co-owner and general counsel at Bracke Manufacturing, LLC from September 2011 to January 2014. Educationally, Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Stanford University and a Doctor of Law from the University of Southern California, both during the years 1993 to 1996.
