Allison Metcalfe

Allison Metcalfe is an experienced mining engineer currently serving as Principal Engineer for Mining Projects at Newmont Corporation since November 2023. Prior to this role, Allison held various positions at Newcrest Mining from July 2017 to November 2023, including Principal Engineer for Mining Projects, Readiness Lead PC2-3, Acting Principal of Integrated Planning, Superintendent of Mining Engineering, Senior Mining Engineer, and Mining Engineer. Earlier in the career, Allison worked as a Mining Engineer at Glencore Zinc from January 2003 to April 2008. Allison holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wollongong, obtained from 1998 to 2002.
