Andrew Willoughby

Andrew Willoughby is an experienced asset management professional currently serving as Asset Manager for Newmont Corporation's Penasquito Operations in Mexico since March 2022. Prior to this role, Andrew was employed at Rio Tinto from 2004, taking on various leadership positions, including Director of Strategic Planning, Manager Concentrator Maintenance, and Principal Advisor. Andrew's expertise encompasses safety leadership, workforce development, and asset management strategies for mechanical and electrical fixed plants. Key achievements include the successful development of national superintendents, significant reductions in injury rates, and the establishment of effective maintenance planning and shutdown processes.
