Arja Jewbali

Arja Jewbali is an accomplished leader in resource management and geostatistics with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as Head of Resource Management at Newmont Corporation since December 2015, Arja oversees the quality of resource models and reconciliation activities across global regions, while also supporting governance processes. Previous roles include Interim VP of Resource Evaluation and Mine Planning, and Group Executive of Resource Evaluation, where Arja successfully directed large, cross-functional teams and drove strategic initiatives. Arja's earlier experience includes senior positions at Newmont Ghana Gold Limited and Newmont Mining Corporation, along with a strong foundational role at Rio Tinto. Arja holds a PhD in Geostatistics from The University of Queensland, alongside additional qualifications in organizational leadership and mining engineering.
